Mark has been in retail all his career, spending time in regional management with a number of large multiples over the years. His endurance background started in triathlon where he has achieved multiple podiums at national and international triathlon championship level in the past. In recent years, Mark has focused solely on running, competing at anything from 5k up to marathon. Throughout his athletics career Mark has suffered plenty of injuries through a combination of poor footwear and a lack of good advice in the marketplace. He felt there was an opportunity in the growing running market and decided to set up The Run Hub in 2013.

Nick became interested in running gear after he became a writer for the Irish Runner magazine, specialising in gear. While studying Journalism at Dublin Technological University Nick started working with us and is usually found in our Aungier Street store where he enjoys listening to our customer’s stories.

Luke is the newest member of The Run Hub family. He began running in New Zealand, where he lived for 5 years. Having moved back to Dublin, he is now an avid trail runner and can be found most weekends running over the cliffs of Howth, or in the Wicklow Mountains. Luke is also an accomplished swimmer, competing for local clubs from a young age, and having worked as a surf lifeguard on the beaches of New Zealand. What Luke lacks in racing experience, he makes up for by clearly being the best looking staff member.
